Take Me To Your Leader

Recent attendees at the VITTA conference in Melbourne would have seen this short film I created as a part of my Keynote with Xtranormal and a bit of tweaking with iMovie. The basic concept is;

Imagine you had to explain what education is all about to someone from another planet?

How would you explain how we impart knowledge from one generation to the next so as to improve our society?

I think it would go something like this…

I hope this challenges you to reflect upon how you are promoting curiosity in your school. I would love to hear how you have used this video to challenge, or even inspire, other educators. Feel free to share, I only ask that you leave a comment.

Darrel and Tony from the EdTech Crew are at it again.

The boys will be streaming live from the VITTA 2010 conference and have created this website to share all the latest news. The conference has some outstanding sessions and the EdTech Crew will no doubt gather some fantastic interviews.

So if you can’t make it to the conference you need to follow along on this website, and if you do attend, it will be a great way to catch up on sessions you may have missed.

I am looking forward to presenting one of the Keynote presentations at the annual VITTA conference in Melbourne this year. The conference program looks outstanding and I am very honoured to be speaking with such a talented group educators in attendance I just hope I can string 2 words together and be reasonably coherent!
